THE WAY TO ADJUST THE SEAT / LA MANIERE POSITIONNER LE SIEGE

Four side handles under seat allow to adjust position: T one for up and down of front leg pad,V one for height adjustement,
H one for floor track
movement and R one for
back incline setting.



Quatre poignées sous le siège permettent d'ajuster sa position.
Poignée T pour l'inclinaison de l'assise,la V pour réglage de la hauteur,la H pour le déplacement sur les rails de sol, et la R pour l'inclinaison du dossier.

Many little things are still missing in my cockpit but one of the last big lack was a way to seat in !The opportunity came (once again ) from Hong Kong where a 747 cockpit's master fan (I have talk about him in the very beginning of this blog) was selling original United Airlines cokpit seats.A huge parcel was so delivered to me a few days ago (and huge french custom fees too !) and this is what I get in it :
S'il manque encore pas mal de petites choses dans mon cockpit,une des dernières choses importantes était...un moyen de s'y asseoir !C'est désormais chose faite,une fois de plus grâce au fan de Hong Kong (dont je vous ai déjà parlé en début de blog) qui s'est séparé de sièges pilotes de la United Airlines.Il y a quelques jours de cela,j'ai donc reçu un gros colis (et une grosse taxe de douane aussi !) et voici ce qu'il contenait:

OVERHEAD PANEL / PANNEAU SUPERIEUR

Just above the pilots is the main overhead panel with about 35 to 40 elements.The size is 29"x22" (panel detail coming soon).Back view on the right photo ! These are the elements you can see in my version (from top to bottom and left to right):
