FIRE EXTINCTION HANDLES / POIGNEES INCENDIE

To complete the overhead panel,some parts were missing.The fire handles were among them but I got a pair recently, again from Airline Pilot Historical Society (thank you Nick !)

Pour compléter le panneau supérieur,quelques éléments me manquent encore.
C'était le cas pour les poignées anti incendie que j'ai pu acquérir récemment^,toujours de la même association(merci Nick !).

Once again,the good information came from Alkit.He talked me about an US aircraft non profit foundation who had a complete 747 panel for sale!! My god,my dream was about to come true !
I sold all the parts I have and many things from my cinema collection and was able to order it.
Two months later,I have received three packages...

Une fois deplus c'est par Alkit que l'information capitale m'est parvenue.
Il m'apprend qu'une association aéronautique américaine vend un tableau de bord de 747 complet!!
Mon rêve devenait réalité!j'ai revendu toutes les autres pièces ainsi que des objets de ma collection cinéma pour pouvoir l'acheter.
Deux mois plus tard,j'ai reçu trois colis...

Being in contact with Alkit,I started collecting parts from various internet seller.
This is my all first part: the first officer panel.

En contact avec Alkit,je commencais à réunir divers éléments en provenance de vendeurs sur internet.

THE INSPIRATION / L'INSPIRATION

The envy to own a 747 cockpit was in me.The problem was how to make it real?
I started thinking about making a cockpit from craft,but it would have been a long and approximate creation.
The revelation came from a young guy in Hong Kong called Alkit.
I have visited his site and discover what will be my quest !

Le désir de posséder un tableau de bord de 747 était en moi. Mais de quelle manière le concrétiser?
j'ai pensé un moment le crééer entièrement en carton,mais cela s'avérait long et assez approximatif.
La révélation m'est venue en visitant le site d'un jeune chinois de Hong kong prénommé Alkit.
J'ai compris quel allait être mon objectif.

How it started ? / Comment tout a commencé ?

My passion for the 747 cockpit has started with a movie I have seen when I was a teen : AIRPORT 75.I first was impressed with the plane itself.It was huge and impressive.

Ma passion pour le cockpit du 747 remonte à mon adolescence,et plus précisément au jour ou j'ai vu le film 747 EN PERIL.C'est d'abord l'avion en lui même qui m'a impressionné par son aspect imposant.
